Max is in his third year of his PhD at UMD CP in Education Policy, which he started directly after earning my master's degree in international education policy and management from Vanderbilt University. Before that, he taught physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics for 2 years to 6th through 9th grade students in a rural public school in Guinea through the Peace Corps. Prior to focusing on education, he earned a B.S. in Physics from San Diego State University.
