Sarah Montana is a PhD student in Education Policy at the University of Maryland-College Park. In her prior work with the nonprofit Deans for Impact, Sarah supported educator preparation programs nationwide in integrating the science of how learning happens into their coursework and clinical experiences. She has also taught high school English and Government in El Dorado, Arkansas. These experiences inform her excitement at the potential of AI-based methods to support learning and development for teachers. When she's not at work she's probably outside on a bike or climbing something tall.
