Partner with Us

Through our M-Powering Teachers projects, we collaborate with school districts to leverage educational data science, automated feedback, and evidence-based coaching to improve classroom instruction and advance educational equity.

We are actively seeking forward-thinking school districts interested in research-practice partnerships to explore, pilot, or evaluate innovative instructional feedback tools and coaching models aligned with district needs.

Partnering with our research team at EDSI and Harvard gives your district access to cutting-edge tools and actionable insights to support teachers and instructional leaders:

  • Actionable Instructional Insights: Receive aggregated, actionable diagnostic data on classroom instruction to inform district-wide improvement initiatives.
  • Empowering Feedback for Educators: Teachers gain access to automated, private feedback and evidence-based tips designed to enhance instructional practice.
  • Professional Learning & Coaching: Opportunity to connect teachers with expert coaching or build internal capacity by training district instructional coaches to use automated feedback tools.
  • Open-Source Tools: Access innovative, open-source resources developed to support high-quality, equitable teaching and learning.
  • Compensation & Support: Participating educators and support staff are compensated for their time and contribution to research initiatives.
  • No Cost to Districts: Existing projects are grant-funded, and therefore services are offered to school district partners at no cost.

How Partnerships Work

While specific project goals and activities are tailored in collaboration with each district, typical partnership activities may involve:

  1. Instructional Insights: Gathering video/audio recordings of classroom instruction and brief teacher and student surveys to generate instructional feedback.
  2. Optional Administrative Data Sharing: Securely linking administrative data (e.g., student demographics, test scores) to measure instructional effectiveness and equity. All data is de-identified, securely stored, and compliant with FERPA regulations.
  3. Collaborative Implementation: Working together to recruit participating schools, grade bands, or subject-area teams.
